Over 10 years of service

The origins of the Atkinson & Company go back to March 1993 when Ralph Atkinson became a self employed practitioner.

In 1994 the firm of Atkinson & Company was established and incorporation to Atkinson & Company took place in 2000. In 1996 the centre of gravity moved from London to Sheffield and the head office now resides within multiple office units at President Buildings.

Our technical staff have backgrounds in the sciences including physics, engineering and software, as well as qualifications in law.

All members pride themselves in being able to bring significant scientific and technical knowledge to the table. We are also familiar with protecting technically demanding and legally challenging inventions within realistic budgets and timeframes. These skills are directed exclusively at providing representation before patent and trademark offices. With respect to contentious matters, we look to referring matters to our respected legal associates in the UK and around the world.
